Join us for the first Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra workshop of the year in the cosy Hot Yoga Studio, Dundrum... welcome more stillness and flexibility into your yoga practice and your life!
Yin Yoga complements our more active “yang” styles of yoga, exercise and lifestyle, by encouraging us to slow down and listen to the body and breath. This subtle but gently challenging practice builds flexibility and strength in the joints, fascia and dense connective tissues of the body, while cultivating patience, tolerance and self awareness.
We will close this workshop with a generous Yoga Nidra practice. This deeply relaxing and healing guided meditation enhances the mind-body connection, allowing both body and mind to profoundly relax and let go.
"I have been to several Yin Yoga workshops with Ahimsa Yoga over the last year, and I have enjoyed discovering the gentle and meditative approach of yin yoga that Aoife presents with such peaceful and passionate dedication. Aoife is a wonderful mentor and she explains and demonstrates throughout her workshops, allowing you to relax and let go in a safe and supported environment. The atmosphere is tranquil and healing at her workshops. Yin yoga is about body awareness and meditation combined into one active meditative practice, and I am grateful to have learned new methods from Aoife to expand my personal yoga practice. I would highly recommend Aoife's workshops for anybody who's interested in a restorative, gentle, yet strength building approach to self care and wellbeing. I'll definitely be back for more! Namaste!"
