Thank you so much for the enthusiastic response to my question - would you like a summer workshop together? The resounding answer was a lovely big YES!
I’ve found a beautiful venue for our summer reunion…
Amo & Pax is a passion project of Amanda Pratt, previously owner, creative director and head buyer for Avoca. She has created a gorgeous boutique with creativity and sustainability at its core.
This stunning space upstairs already hosts yoga classes, craft workshops and other special events, and I am so excited to host our Summer Workshop there on Sunday July 19th, from 10.30-12.45.
Easily accessible, just off the N11, with ample parking.
As you can see, the space is bright, spacious and beautiful! It can comfortably hold more that 15 mats, so this is shaping up to be the yoga reunion of the summer!
The workshop I'm planning will be gentle and restorative, offering an opportunity to welcome yourselves and your wonderful bodies exactly as they are on the day.
We will combine mindful movement and breath with moments of stillness and meditation. We will enjoy our bodies, and give space for thoughts and breath to settle, coming home to ourselves.
I hope it will be everything you love about Ahimsa Yoga wrapped up in a special morning together.
Bolsters, blocks and blankets will be provided, but you will need to bring your own mats.
My own props seem to have dwindled over the past year, whether through moving house, studios, or lending them to people! I'll bring what I have, but if you have props yourselves please do bring them along.
This workshop will be gentle and supportive, so it really will be suitable for every body.
* I will be keeping two spaces available at a reduced price for anyone who needs - it never feels right that yoga would be something exclusive, but alas it often is. This is just a small attempt to not let your funds get in the way of your yoga :) If this is you, please don't hesitate to reach out.
