Join Aoife for this extra long, extra deep, Yin yoga practice.
These deeply nourishing yet subtly challenging classes are the ideal complement to other more "yang" active types of yoga, exercise and lifestyles. In Yin Yoga we hold the poses for an extended period of time, to allow the benefits of each pose soak into the joints and fascia, building strength and flexibility in the connective tissues of the body, while cultivating tolerance, patience and resilience mentally and emotionally.
Yin Magic offers more time so experience the depth of this nourish practice, with guided meditation, Aoife's expert and attentive teaching.
“These extended Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra practices are a lovely addition to your monthly yoga or wellness/fitness routine - yin works as a wonderful complimentary practice to balance out your more intense, strength focused physical workouts (be that gym, yoga, dance, cycling etc) with deep, long held poses that gently and carefully stress the denser tissues of the body (tendons, joints, fascia etc)… but yin also provides an important opportunity to slow down and really notice how your whole self is feeling - your physical body, your mind, even your heart and soul… Yin can be the bridge you need if you find meditation on it’s own challenging. It can be the self therapy you need to get back in touch with what you may have been ignoring. It could be the reminder you didn’t know you were looking for to remember how to listen to and trust your own inner teacher. I have over 10 years experience in this approach to yoga and am so passionate about sharing, and adapting, the practice and benefits of Yin Yoga with everyone who shows up on the mat”
