The Bridge Chakra… this Sunday!

The second workshop in our Chakra Yoga Series will focus on the all important heart chakra - the bridge between the lower and upper chakra.

We will begin with a review of the root, sacral and solar plexus chakra, in case you didn't make the first session.

Then we will dedicate the morning to Anahata - the heart chakra. We’ll cover the theory of this beautiful chakra and introduce how the heart chakra connects the lower three to the upper chakra of the throat, third eye and crown.

We’ll put it into practice with heart opening and heart healing practices - pranayama breath work and meditation, a flowing asana practice to release tension from the chest and shoulders, followed by some time to journal about your own relationship with the heart chakra themes. After that we’ll have a heart focused Yin practice and yoga nidra, finishing the day with some heart opening chanting.
