Enjoy two hours of delicious yoga with Aoife. Move from a warming, slow, strengthening flow into a quiet, soothing yin practice before a deeply relaxing yoga nidra and meditation.
Flowing Hatha Yoga is brilliant for releasing physical tension and building strength and balance. Moving with the pace of your breath calms and focuses the mind while harmonising our mental, emotional and physical bodies.
Yin Yoga is a personal favourite of mine, and I always love sharing this practice with others. Yin Yoga develops flexibility and strength in the joints and connective tissues of the body. The stillness of Yin Yoga challenges the mind, building resilience and tolerance. It is an important complement to our more active yoga practices, and an essential practice in our busy lives.
I am also passionate about Yoga Nidra - a deeply healing and restful practice where you are guided through a relaxing meditation, 'rotation of consciousness' (moving your awareness around your body) and sometimes a visualisation too. The benefits of yoga nidra include better sleep, reduced anxiety and stress, increased self awareness and it may even help with issues such as depression and infertility. All of my workshops end with a generous yoga nidra and meditation practice.
This is the perfect workshop for the build up to Christmas, inviting stillness into your yoga practice and your life.
