Using the chakra as a guide, we build awareness of our own needs, passions, and thought patterns while discovering practical tools that help us let go of whatever is holding us back.
In the second of our Chakra series, we focus on the Sacral Chakra. Swadisthana means “one’s own dwelling place” - it is the centre of our unique, creative self. Through fluid, hip opening, flowing yoga, we will observe our emotional body, creativity and prana (life force). A healthy sacral chakra is essential for your sense of passion, creativity and joy. In this class we will practice pranayama (breathing) exercises, chant and movement, and finish with a lovely guided relaxation and meditation that will reconnect us to our passionate creative side and help us to go with the flow.
