Samhain Vegan Yoga Retreat

We are so excited to invite you to our THIRD SAMHAIN RETREAT - on the first weekend of November, in the lovely Avondale Retreat Centre.

When Selena and I began our retreats together three years ago, we were making real our dream to combine our gifts and create an offering of heart-felt yoga and food in a beautiful space, themed around the 4 Celtic festivals which we would often celebrate together ourselves, and we began with Samhain - the Celtic New Year.

Since then, we have loved welcoming our guests on our special weekends, where they are given the space to leave behind their everyday lives, take some time to nourish and recharge their body and soul, and to reconnect with themselves and with new friends too!

We’d love you to join us on our next weekend of rest, movement, nature, intention, learning and creativity in celebration of Samhain, the Celtic New Year. Samhain is a time of release and new beginnings, and in the spectacular surroundings of the Avondale Retreat Centre in Wicklow, you will nurture every part of yourself, with wonderful food, yoga and company.

Selena will provide nourishing plant-based meals made with seasonal vegetables and lots of love. She'll be cooking up a delicious, warming meal to welcome you on Saturday evening, a breakfast buffet for after yoga the following morning and a nourishing lunch to send you off on Sunday afternoon.

Aoife will guide you through softening Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra on Saturday evening, and a mindful Hatha yoga practice on Sunday morning, to awaken your body and clear your mind. Before lunch on Sunday afternoon we will have a gently challenging Hatha Flow class to build strength and confidence.

In celebration of Samhain we will hold a special evening of chant, meditation and mandala making, a ritual of intention and letting go which enables us to approach the winter and the Celtic New Year with love and focus.

You will also have free time to rest, wander the surrounding woods and gardens, take time for yourself and even detox in the infrared sauna! The communal spaces of the retreat will be technology free zones, and we invite you to embrace the opportunity to take a digital detox while you’re here too!
